Summary: In the beginning of Cyrostatis, you start out listening to a story being told to you by the narrator, relayed through notes scattered around a dead body in the snow. You will come across more notes like these later on in the game.
Summary: 'Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason' is part first person shooter, part atmospheric adventure game, in which you explore the aftermath of a disaster from the hull of a nuclear submarine. Sounds like a winning combination, but does this new PC title pull it off or fall just short?
Pros: Fantastic moody, tense atmosphere with a great presentation, Interesting, distinctive mix of adventure and FPS, Involving storyline and great setting
Cons: Slow pace will turn off twitch players, Technical glitches, Overly slow firearms with overt kickback
Flashes of frozen brilliance help this cold-blooded horror game overcome its technological flaws.

Summary: The best horror games can make you shiver, but few elicit chills as well as Cryostasis: The Sleep of Reason. This is partially due to the tense atmosphere that slowly thickens as you play, inspiring a general unease that eventually escalates into full-blown panic.
Pros: Terrific, creepy storytelling, Innovative flashback mechanic enhances the tale, Highly atmospheric sound and art design, Enemy encounters are tense and rewarding
Cons: Some performance and stability issues, Gets off to a slow start
Conclusion: Every holiday season a handful of amazing games somehow manage to sink into obscurity and the way I see things at the moment, Ninjatown is going to be one of them this year. The amount of enjoyment the game provides is exceptionally high, as is the replay value.
