Summary: This is a PC game of grand strategy that originally focused on Europe, North Africa, and the Levant, but the game studio (Paradox) expanded the map to include India as well (free for players). While this "boxed version" may be of less cost, I would actually encourage you to join Steam ([...]).
Summary: If you only get one DLC for CK2, this is the one you should get. It allows you to get retinues (a standing army that you don't have to dismiss) and adds a lot more depth to playing as an Orthodox character, especially in the Byzantine Empire.
Summary: there is no other game made like it , this is the quitessential simulator of being a noble in the Middle Ages , you can be a king, a duke , baron, or maybe even the great Khan of the mongols! this game is about dynasties and power the aquisition of it and maintaining of a royal line throughout the turmoil and chaos of the times. I recommend it to mature people of any age who know and love the period in history. it is a fun game and educational in some ways.
Summary: If you like Paradox games this is one one to grab. Paradox is not re-inventing the wheel here, just putting out another great game! Armies march only after diplomacy is finished... get ready to imprison you children!
Summary: Best grand strategy game ever created. Option to play in steam's offline mode for when you can't commit a couple hours to multiplayer. Multiplayer does require some port opening on your local router.
Summary: The game came very fast to my surprise as it was a international order. Like the game --interesting to play. Very good graphic. There were few things that could be changed or mentioned in the description as that if you want to have the full package like trade or full character design to your specification and liking ( create a gay person or person with special characteristic that would fit with your game strategy) you need to purchase extra packages from Steam.
Summary: The Republic is an essential DLC for anyone who wants to play CK2. The Republic let's you play as Merchant Republics which are locked with the basic version of the game. Republics are controlled by five ruling families in an oligarchic sort of format. Republics are a separate category of country meaning that they compete with each other and play by their own set of rules.
Summary: I am seriously addicted to this game! It's fun to find actual historical figures within the game itself, and it's even more fun to skew history in whichever way you choose to. I would give this game Six stars.
