Summary: Excellent content is to be had here. It unlocks a wealth of content for one of my favorite games. Playing as an islamic state provides unique gameplay mechanics that cant be replicated by the other religions within the game. Nothing like conquesting as a Sheik!
Summary: Excellent game if you like grand strategies. You take control of any medieval kingdom from England, to the Russian steppes, down to India and back to western Africa (including Mali). You can also start out as a duchy or county within someone else's kingdom. Your ruler is 'you', but when he dies you now play as the old ruler's heir.
Summary: Having purchased Crusader Kings 2 as a bundle with this and other DLCs, I had no idea that certain features weren't actually in the base game, but added by this one. I'm genuinely surprised that they were not present in the base game. In my experience, I think that the features added by this DLC are utterly essential. Even though I dislike DLC-scumming in the way Paradox loves to do, this DLC is definitely the most essential in my view.
