Summary: Just gets boring. Its really just a glorified text based game with very little strategy. You have almost no control and spend most of your time passively waiting for events to happen. You make some decisions but i didn't feel like there was strategy involved in any of the decisions I did make. Mostly do you want your child to be gluttonous or a coward or some other inane decision. Pretty disappointed overall.
Summary: Purchased game which worked well, was playable and intuitive based on previous Paradox products I have purchased. However, updates were automatilcally installed which had bugs and made the new game, with bugs, has been set to be more difficult to play and impossible to win, even when set to "Very Easy". And we all purchase computer/video games to occassionally win. Feel like I've wasted my money.
Summary: Like most players I noticed a pretty significant learning curve. You have to go through the tutorials and a few false starts to figure it out. It is tough to get anywhere in the game as the interface is confusing and seems to take a few seconds to go in between the different windows. The interaction with Steam is annoying and adds significant time to the loading of the game.
Summary: Bought this game after reading a number of game reviews off site and here on amazon. What sounded amazing just didnt seem to appeal to me when I was actually playing the game. The game feels very slow and boring to me. Tried giving it a go a few hours at a time but every time I do the game feels boring and I end up quitting. Still though if its the kinda pace you like, with that kind of interface I bet you would enjoy it, the game seemed to have alot of depth to it.
