Conclusion: If you're an avid FPS gamer, CrimeCraft will deliver what you'd expect, albeit in third-person. Whether it is worth the hefty price tag considering most shooters deliver their multiplayer free of charge, is another question entirely.
Summary: Plenty of 'Craft', but not so much 'Crime'
Pros: Combat aspect of the game is practiced and fluid; crafting aspect will hold some interest for the hardcore gamer.
Cons: In-game advertisements are extremely prevalent and only serve as a distraction for the player; monthly subscription isn't really worth what the game has to offer; promises of RPG elements practically go unmet; world feels more like a standby station than an open environment.
This "persistent world next-gen shooter" gets the shooting right but the "persistent world" part pretty wrong.

Summary: When there's a single entity that dominates its niche as thoroughly as World of Warcraft dominates the massively multiplayer online game space, it's a daunting task to go head-to-head with it.
Pros: Fun PVP multiplayer, Lots of depth to the combat
Cons: Poor value for the money, Little sense of immersion, Poor PVE gameplay and questing, In-your-face ads are prevalent
Conclusion: There are fun moments to be had, but it feels like a combination of different games forced together. There isn't anything terribly unique about it, and frankly, it really needs more game play content outside of the instances.
