Summary: This was a great game to play. Even though it actually doesn't differ much from Cradle of Rome. The levels however got slightly more difficult and a few were very hard to finish. Best thing to do in my humble opinion is to reload the power up of the level and keep it, while destroying the last tile. This gives you three or even more power ups to end that darn very difficult level. The power ups are random in each level.
Summary: Very fun and addicting game, BUT.... the high points needed to finish the game within 100 levels is frustrating. I'm really good at these games, but I played this through three times and STILL could not finish the last level. I tried replaying through the levels with the intention to just acquire more points, rather than working to finish them, and it was just too tedious.
Summary: DISCLAIMER: I only played the free trial. I didn't think I'd see a game as good as 7 Wonders: Magic Mystery Tour so soon, and I was right. Cradle of Egypt isn't as good as 7 Wonders, but it comes pretty darn close. As with the the previous Cradle games, the graphics are great, maybe even better that the others. This game offers both a timed and untimed level, a real plus when it comes to replay value.
Summary: There are MANY differences with Cradle of Egypt, the first being an untimed mode. This will be a definite hit with many Match 3 fans. It doesn't make the game itself any easier, but it does remove the stress. Awem also added lots of special extras in the gameplay when multiples of the same resource are matched, when multiple combos are made, etc. Resources have been beefed up and the power-ups and have also been changed and made more useful.
Summary: This game has a new element not found in Cradle of Rome 1 or 2 that totally changes the way you play the game. For that reason alone, it gets five stars. Yes, it's very similar to Cradle of Rome but again, because of that element, the way I play has totally changed. I don't want to say what it is so it spoils the surprise for others.
Summary: The ability to play in untimed mode makes this a very beautiful, relaxing game! The graphics are stunning, to say the least. But if you like the challenge, play in timed mode and collect fun trophies!
Summary: I like the Cradle series, and Egypt is better than the rest. I played the 100 levels, although I did not 'win' or completely finish. I was offered to replay the last 20 levels, although after several attempts I guess I will have to completely restart with a new profile. This is a bit discouraging, but the game is great so I may put up with the replay. Good fun mini games, enjoyable music, variation and nice pace - some challenging levels and some easy ones.
Summary: I have the other two cradle games and love them. This new CE the graphics are really clear and sharp. The game doesnt seem to be as fast and exciting as the other two previous games. Not please that only 100 levels and they want CE prices. Willl not be purchasing this game but will defineately play my two older versions. Happy gaming.
