Summary: love this game, but had problems with the download. If you don't have steam account could be very difficult to install. The problem that you might have with installing the game is the updates. THQ/ Relic has a terrible update page, so beware if you don't have steam.

Summary: I am not the type who writes reviews unless it's a horrible product, or to shed light on misinformation. This is the latter; First, if you own any of the CoH game, it will update you game to 2.60 through 4-6 patches depending on the game you have. Then you pretty much own Anthology except the games you don't own are locked mission.
Summary: Like many people who've been reviewing on this item about all the patches, I agree about them, but it took only an hour to download five of them and they wait was worth it. This is a great game to the additional CoH series, although the speed of the game was so slow at first, but after a few games I could not stop and write a review on Amazon.
I agree the patching system is horrifying!!! but still, very good game.

Summary: I hate reading long winded reviews. So I will try to hit only on the main points of my opinion on the game. Cons: - Patching System is a Nightmare! More than a gig and a half worth of patches needed to play online. They do not have 1 single cummulative patch. I instead, they have about 5 incremental patches. Extremely irritating to get the game going.
Summary: This is not a fault of Amazon but you need to watch out when purchasing used software. The game I purchased was used and the CD arrived in great condition and worked properly - so what's my gripe? I bought this for my 13 year old son and after a successful install he downloaded the necessary patches to allow the game to be played on-line with other players. After a connection attempt a message appeared saying that his software key was already in use!
Summary: I'm not often a big fan of strategy and RTS games because of the learning curve. I don't generally want to spend hours just learning how to play a game. This game has a interesting, but generally simple tech trees. The game play is straight forward, and its easy to control units and move around the maps. Once I got over the tutorial, I found the single player skirmishes to be loads of fun. In fact more fun then the campaign so far.
