Summary: love this game, but had problems with the download. If you don't have steam account could be very difficult to install. The problem that you might have with installing the game is the updates. THQ/ Relic has a terrible update page, so beware if you don't have steam.
Summary: Like many people who've been reviewing on this item about all the patches, I agree about them, but it took only an hour to download five of them and they wait was worth it. This is a great game to the additional CoH series, although the speed of the game was so slow at first, but after a few games I could not stop and write a review on Amazon.
I agree the patching system is horrifying!!! but still, very good game.

Summary: I hate reading long winded reviews. So I will try to hit only on the main points of my opinion on the game. Cons: - Patching System is a Nightmare! More than a gig and a half worth of patches needed to play online. They do not have 1 single cummulative patch. I instead, they have about 5 incremental patches. Extremely irritating to get the game going.
Summary: An excellent 2nd chapter to the original. Playing as the German defender lets you really understand the inundating allied forces. With the amount of troops and material at allied disposal it is surprising the amount of time the invasion to victory actually took. The scenarios for the original game do not work well with this version. It is no challenge when you play the Germans, and it is impossible if you play as the US.
Summary: I like the game but I bought it used and if you don't have the original login information you would have to play on your pc only and to do so you'll have to disconnect internet service while it loads and then you reset your internet that is the only pain but if you get it cheap enough like I did and don't want to play on line it's good. If you like the first company of heros you'll like the second even better.
Can't use a router if you want to play multiplayer

Summary: I was addicted to this game for quite awhile. I stink, but I was still addicted. It is a fun strategy-type game, putting you in an semi-omniscient god mode. It is a worthy successor to the original, as the new units are fun to use. The big problem for me is that I have networked my and my wife's computers at home through a router. This game's multiplayer mode will simply not work online if you are trying to connect to it through a router.
Summary: I have the original Company of Heroes game and I love it however this game is good and the details are still awesome buit somehow it just isnt the same. I really enjoy playing it but I still like the Original one first.
