Summary: As a big fan of Company of Heros and WWII history, I wanted to try this version. I saw all the nightmare stories about the pain installing, patching, and getting this game to run, but I tried it anyway. Big Mistake!
If you EVER get the game installed and running ...

Summary: I thought Company of Heroes was difficult to install but CoH:Opposing Force takes things to a whole new level. How about an expansion that requires you to uninstall the original game but does not tell you that? Installation instructions that ignore known issues?
Summary: Very FUN game when i can play longer than 5 minutes without crashing...see below...As soon as the game loaded a very large patch is required, now i think their is an additional patch which i also downloaded. It is very large and takes time even with highspeed cable.
Summary: Company of Heroes was one of our favorite RTS's to play, definitely the best RTS to date. Very stable, very fun. Opposing Fronts, the follow on, is a good game, but was released too early without adequate testing.
Summary: If you are a fan of Company of Heroes this game at first seems a must. I must earnestly warn anyone out there who is thinking of buying this game to know this, that you will be pulling your hair out in clumps with shear rage at how hard this is to install and run, when and if your get it running it...
Summary: So, after an insallation that took about three times longer than the limit of may patience I had to install a patch which, owing to my less than excellent broadand router, took a further 40 mins to download. Then I was asked to sign on to Relic Online.
Summary: Opposing fronts is a stand alone add on to the original COH game. First of all, I've had comapny of heroes for a while and it is brilliant, interesting, varied and has two well balanced sides and a wealth of units you can use for different applications each with individual skills and upgrades.
Summary: This is quite a good game once you get playing. The graphics are good, the gameplay is OK and the portrayal of the Brits (and the language) is notable for not being the Lah-di-dah stereotype. BUT it barely works. Have a good book handy.
