Summary: this game can only be used efficiently by a computer with a quad core processor and it is completely useless in its retail form because the site that authorizes it is now gone and has been gone for some time. Sadly I wasted about 20 bucks on this and the original company of heroes, they worked great for a while then started crashing every time I tried to play a game and now they're useless.
please insert you company of heroes: OPPOSING FRONTS DISK!!!

Summary: YEA DOES NOT EVEN WORK. DIDNT GET PAST LOADUP SCREEN WITHOUT ASKING ME FOR A DISK. WELL IT MADE MY TYPE IN THE CODE AMAZON GAVE ME WITH THE DOWNLOAD AT STARTUP!!! AND IT SHOULD NOT BE THE DISK NEEDING VERSION RIGHT? DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY PLAY IT AFTER PAYING. BUY THE DISK VERSION! AND NOT FROM AMAZON!!!!
Summary: Bought it thinking it was its own game, downloaded it and everything, got it up and running, tried to play a level and it told me I needed another game to play- did this with every level. I believe this to be a DLC to the actual game which I had not purchased.
Summary: Despite all of the negative comments I've read about this game I still decided to test my luck and buy it. After taking that leap of faith I fell flat on my face, I haven't even been able to play this game. Sometimes I just get a blank screen whenever I try to launch the game and the times I don't it tells me I don't have the disk in (when I obviously do). I should have listened to all of the people saying that this game was a broken mess.
Summary: I originally had issues installing this game with windows 7 and couldn't get the game to run. Because customer support was virtually non-existent I originally gave this game one star. After finally resolving the installation issues and going through the tedious patch process (admittedly much improved over the original, but now requires online activation), I was able to play the game and was very disappointed.
