Summary: The graphic is so real. If you have a gaming PC or laptop, you should try this game to feel the issues of the World War 2. The change of time between day and night and morning and sunset on the battle attract me.
Summary: When you install the game you will receive an infinite loop asking for donwloading a patch again and again and again. I searched about this problem and found a lot of people with this trouble. In order to make things worse, Amazon will ask you to donwload it again and to re install it again. It just won't function. Just save your money. Do not buy it.
Summary: One of the shortcomings of COH is that you have no choice really as to what faction you play with in multiplayer or skirmish modes. You are either the Germans or the USA. That is the number one value of this add on to get 2 more choices to play with the Brits and the Panzer Elite. I didn't expect much more than that and you don't get much more than that. The game is based on reality, it is history so they can't just make things up as they go along.
Summary: Expanding the list of playable countries by including the English/Commonwealth troops and the new Panzer Elite builds off of the awesome foundation of the first COH and makes a great game even better! The campaigns are fun and live up to the precedent the original set in terms of immersion and honoring the soldiers who took part in it's presentation.
Summary: This is what my review initially looked like: "I have an excellent computer that plays many modern games without any difficulty. I ONLY have trouble with this game. It's a shame because I was able to play it as a demo and it seems good, but it's not worth anything if it won't play, that's the bottom line. I couldn't even get the code that came with the disc to work, I had to get a new code from customer support (that problem at least I was able to resolve).
Summary: This expansion adds two new armies, the British and the Panzer Elite. Both add variety to a great game. I got this on D2D for $5 and haven't had any problems with patching or having to log in first to play (although I agree that part is annoying). There is enough variety in the type of units these armies have that you do have to think about new strategies (which is always fun). RIP to COHO.
Summary: As a big fan of Company of Heros and WWII history, I wanted to try this version. I saw all the nightmare stories about the pain installing, patching, and getting this game to run, but I tried it anyway. Big Mistake! It took forever to get it so the game would run and once I did finally got it installed, I found I could no longer play the original C of H since installing the new game did something.
