Fracture Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: Multiplayer does what it can to raise the game back up, offering eight diverse gameplay types. Granted, some of the action takes place in the same areas and with the same gameplay style as the single-player game, so it’s far from being the game it wanted to be. That’s not to say that you won’t have fun, but my guess is online players will opt to turn toward older/established online-capable faves (such as the latest Call of Duty and Halo titles), instead of trying to come...

Test Command And Conquer 3 : Tiberium Wars

Generation NT
24 October 2007
  • Cons: Trop calqué, Gameplay rudimentaire, Quelques soucis d'IA, Missions parfois simplettes

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

Strategy Informer
21 October 2007
  • Conclusion: When it comes down to it, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars is not a terrific RTS, but it does take into account one feature that many such games feel is contrary to this type of gameplay; light entertainment. In that respect, this game is a complete success, hampered only by an inadequate control system (though it’s hard to blame the developers for a natural and understandable shortcoming of the system) and lightened all the more by the tacky acting and hot babes.

Warhawk

Game Boyz
29 June 2007
  • Excerpt: Sony has yet to have a game that I consider must have title when considering online play. However all of that has recently changed since they released an update to their PSone title Warhawk. The recent release of the PSone successor keeps the same name, but the focus is strictly multiplayer madness. And after taking my skills online, I would have to say that the decision to make the next generation Warhawk an online only game was definitely a good one.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

maximum pc
15 May 2007
  • Excerpt: Tiberium Wars picks up on the long-running conflict between Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and Brotherhood of Nod forces on a Tiberium-infested Earth. Over the course of three-dozen missions, you side with each of the game’s three factions, waging war to protect the citizens of Earth, spreading the word of the prophetic Kane, and freaking everyone out with an alien invasion. Independence Day, eat your heart out.
  • Pros: Breathtaking visuals anchor the fun single-player campaign.
  • Cons: Simple strategic options and small maps limit complexity

Expert Review

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: So it's certainly been worth the wait. No one really expected C&C3 to change the way we play games, and it hasn't. Nor will it. What it has done, though, is show the world that games can be made for the people who want them, and they can be made right if enough heart and thought is applied to them. This is a game that any self-respecting PC owner should pick up, ready to enjoy some mindless, pointless fun. Anyway, I'm off to make things go boom again.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

ActionTrip
4 April 2007
  • Conclusion: Just to remind you, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is also making its way to the Xbox 360, as part of EA's continued effort to bring its strategy games to next-generation consoles. Expect the game to ship in May 2007. We'll have to wait another month to see how that one turns out.
  • Pros: It successfully embodies everything you need to experience in a modern-day RTS;
  • Cons: Nothing we haven't seen before, it simply lacks any tangible innovation.
