Command And Conquer 4 – Tiberian Twilight: Reviewed (PC)

mature-gaming.com
7 September 2013
  • Excerpt: It’s been seven years since Westwood folded and EA games started developing the Command and Conquer franchise. I say that because when it comes to a series that’s as long running, critically acclaimed and damn engrossing as Command and Conquer, history is really important. I felt a tinge of sadness when I heard that this title – Command and Conquer 4 – was going to be the last in the Kane story arc.

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight Review

VideoGamer.com
13 November 2010
  • Excerpt: So here it is, the end of the Tiberian saga. The series that began a whopping 15 years ago with Westwood Studios' ground breaking Command & Conquer ends here with Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight. Sniff. It's a load of old tosh, of course. The Tiberian saga may be over, but the universe is alive and well. And, as is the video game way, if C&C4 sells well there will be a C&C5. Well, probably.

Review: Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight (PC)

Gametactics
8 April 2010
  • Conclusion: A game filled with interesting ideals that are executed poorly. While the game overall isn’t horrible, a lot of bad decisions cause a potentially good game to be dragged down to the depths of mediocrity. While patches have fixed some of the problems (the game auto-saves when your connection gives out) many problems remain.

Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight

Game Over Online

  • Excerpt: The Good: EA attempts a complete redesign on what they claim is the end of the Command and Conquer story arc The Bad: And Fail The Ugly: Badly I gotta say right off the ole bat-arino that just getting C&C4 to run was something of a trial, despite the fact that my newly upgraded rig far surpasses the recommended system requirements.

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight Review

GamerNode
26 March 2010
  • Excerpt: It’s been a long and rocky road for the Command & Conquer series. The series has seen numerous RTS titles, a first-person offshoot, and even an acquisition of series creators Westwood Studios by Electronic Arts, with EA LA taking charge. This isn’t to say that have done a bad job. EA LA produced great C&C games of their own; including C&C3 and the incredibly well put together Red Alert 3 , personal RTS favorite of mine.
