Good Deal but you will have to figure out how to do Online Mode because GameSpy is Out of Business.

Summary: The Game set is a good deal at a great price. The only problem is that when you try to go Multi Player, you cannot online using the supplied methods. When this was published, You needed a GameSpy account to log into and get with your friends. GameSpy went out of business and no longer supports that option. To do normal online Multiplayer, you need a STEAM Account. You also will have to contact their customer support and show evidence that you own this game.
NO DRM. NO Tech tree either. Manuals on digital only. Good distro all in all.

Summary: I've played all Civilization games up to IV. This pack is almost perfect: No DRM, single disc (DVD thanks for that!). Manuals in digital form included. It installed fine on VISTA 64 bit. Runs perfectly. (I've read some people have problems with 7 64 bit). I don't think reviewing the games themselves would be useful and there are PLENTY of reviews online for both games and expansions.

Summary: Civ 4 is really a fun game. I play it for hours with my teenage sons. We bought it specifically because it's a game they wanted to play together with me, and it really fits the bill. We play on the same side against computer opponents, and it's fun working as a team.
Summary: This is a good follow on to Sid's Civilization III (C3) which I also play. The play is a little slower than in C3 especially at the beginning. There is usually rapid meetings with other civilizations and the AI seems to be set for rapid conflict between developing nations by cutting off expansion quickly. All in all an excellent game.
Summary: I bought this as a Christmas present for my 15 yr old son. He had never heard of it and it took some cajoling to get him to try it. But once he did it was hard to get him off the computer. He gives it 4 stars.
