Summary: It's not WOW. You can fly. You can leap buildings in a single bound. You can become invisible. You can teleport. The community isn't massive (compared to more popular MMOs) but is very friendly. The character customizability is better than any other MMO by a long way. Not a wizard or ranger in site.

Summary: I initially came to this game as a MMORG newbie, and played it for the free period ; I found iit interesting but that it lacked a long term appeal. A year later, having since played and enjoyed World of Warcraft,I thought I'd give it another go...unfortunately I came to the same conclusion.

Summary: Right, first of all, people should stop whining like little girls about a monthly subscription fee - it says on the box, it probably says in some reviews. Short of actually knocking on peoples doors and saying ' Hey, our game is strictly online, with a subscription' there is not a huge amount of a...
Summary: As a newbie to the on-line role playing genre I found it a tad awkward to get into, but perseverance is the key. After failing to complete a number of the more difficult missions I joined a team for the first time. This showed me why this game is so addictive.
Summary: I had often heard of the game when it went live in the US. I thought about trying it, but the purchase price seemed too high and there was no way of doing a trial. I was lucky to get into the EU Beta and played 2 weeks for... more than I should (still only about 2 hours a day).
Summary: First off, I would like to say that I love superheroes. Ever since I was a kid I loved them, and the prospect of this character creation system was just an amazing chance at being a character that I cherished. I bought this game BECAUSE of the character creation system, and it did not let down.
Summary: It seems that Massively Multiplayer games are being released with such frequency now that its impossible to find one that stands out among them...until now. City of Heroes is a fun and quite different spin from the Massively Multiplayer Online formula.
Summary: As a long-time veteran of MMORPG games (also known as "persistant world" games), I have found City of Heroes to be a breath of VERY fresh air. Instead of the "cookie cutter" forumla of dragons, swords, wizards, and clerics, CoH casts you as a superhero.
