Summary: So far this game sucks... although i'm sure itll be worth the wait... it has taken me six hours to get it started. first the installation... it crashes every 10 mins, i had to pray to keep it going the whole way through. then i had to update the updater (:P) and that took about 4 hours in itsself.
Excerpt: This is easily the best Super - Heroes based game i have ever played, and one of the best MMORPG's ever made. This company is amazing in how well they listen to what the players want, and incorporating it into the game-verse in a short period of time.
Pros: great character builder, great new emoticons .
Cons: missions can become a bit minorly repetitive
Excerpt: When City of Heroes hit the downtown streets of the underground roleplaying scene in 2005 it made many masked heads turn. It was an interesting concept to release a dedicated MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) based around super heroes set in a comic book world.
Pros: excellent character creation possibilities and the chance to dress up in spandex
Cons: not enough to keep your average RPG fan coming back for more
Excerpt: This game most definatly trumps WOW in my mind. Its classes are more diverse, the world isnt as big but is more creative, fun pvp and pve. The game is about you, a super hero, who fights evil. There are different classes like tanker, which can take hits, and others.
Summary: ...so, I bought this game yesterday. I was pretty souped for it, as a friend of mine had purchased it and he seemed excited about it. Installation and registration went smoothly. I entered the character creation screen, and I noticed a problem. The character model looked very, very strange.
Summary: The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is a blast...when you can maintain a connection. Unfortunately, disconnects are so frequent (I've had eight or more in a ten minute span multiple times) that all of the wonderful features of the game are rendered nothing but a tease.
Summary: When you buy this program, you cannot sell it or let someone else play it. This prevents piracy, but also will prevent me from ever buying a title from these clowns again. I do not duplicate games, but I do not want to keep a game that is more borring than watching Sesame Street.
Summary: This game is one big RPG Rip-off, you buy the game for $49.99 (plus S&H) and when you get the game on your computer it says that you need a Credit Card or Game Time Subscription Card (which cost $29.99) just to start the game.
Summary: I purchased this game with high expectations. However, after one "free" month of service and a total of an hour of gameplay, this is one nightmare that I will not continue to use. I have nothing but technical issues since I bought the game.
