Summary: After finishing COM: Tree of Life, I had to go back and play this one. I was not disappointed in the least and had no glitches or technical problems. The story comes alive through the visually stunning details of the scenes. My favorite was outside of the temple surrounded by the sea...unbelievably realistic. Yes, characters were at times a bit off in form, but it didn't take away from the story.
Summary: "Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual" is the first in the Chronicles of Mystery series, and it's a pretty good start to a hopefully long-running series. It contains a good story, awesome graphics, and decent voice acting. However, amongst these good points, there are a few things to improve on.
Summary: Beautiful graphics, pleasing music, and moderately interesting story. Occasionally frustrating because of back-tracking frequently, and relatively few sites explored. That and the abrupt, unsatisfying ending bring this to 4 stars instead of 5. However it's still a worthwhile adventure game without excessive hand-holding or difficulty. I bought it with no regrets.
Summary: Intriguing game which I think has been overlooked by a lot of the gaming community. Just finished this game and it was most enjoyable, intriguing and challenging. Finally, a game whose story line makes sense, is worth keeping up with and an ending that surprises you. May be a tad slow in the start of the game to capture one's interest, but the pace picks up as does the intensity of this game. I recommend it; it's a nice diversion from the mundane ones I've seen lately.
Summary: This is a good game but it's over way too soon. I like the character and the graphics and sounds were superb! That's extremely important to me when playing a game; the graphics MUST be good and the sounds applicable to the environment. Another game I wouldn't mind playing again.
Summary: Bought this for my sister, who really liked the Longest Journey series. She liked this game overall, but felt it was too short, with not enough time for character development. She also wasn't raving about the ending. She finished it in two days with roughly three or four sittings. Very nice graphics and musical score. The game is exceptionally easy to install and play. One of the most well made adventure games, technically, that I've ever seen.
Summary: This game has an interesting story and fun to play. Great graphics (well done!) and good voice acting. Some humor, love the parrot. :) If you are looking for a mystery/adventure game without frustrating puzzles & mazes then this is the game to get. No long or silly dialogues, no running around trying to figure out where to go next or what to do since you can't leave an area 'til you find every item & complete the task or puzzle.
The Scorpio Ritual, a Better Offering from City Interactive

Summary: A few days ago I discovered this game was the next installment from City Interactive, the same company that gave us The Art of Murder. Having made that discovery I immediately ordered the game. I played The Art of Murder not too long ago and overall I did enjoy it, but I honestly have to admit it was a typical game today that can be catagorized with the analagy to movies released directly to DVD rather than to the big screen.
