Summary: Upon the start up of the game, you were nabbed by the idea of magicians gathering at a convention, but once the game actually starts, it's all eye strain from there. Items were way too small for my eyes (even with glasses on and screen brightness all the way up). As much as I enjoyed the beautiful graphics, I absolutely can't stand playing a game where I have to constantly squint to find items. That was enough for me to uninstall.
Summary: A rather baffling casual HOG. I consider a HOG to be "casual" when there's no real storyline and no elements of adventure games mixed in. They're just HO scene after HO scene. This one also has some mini-puzzles... but they're ridiculously simple. Not really worth mentioning. However, this is where things get baffling to me. While the mini-puzzles are a complete cakewalk, the HO scenes themselves are... overwhelming. Too many items. Too small of items. Too much going on.
Summary: Agree with most of the reviews here. Game started well and was quite pleased with the vibrant colourful graphics. However, as I played along, it got repetitious. As I continued through the chapters, I found the price required to restore the castle got higher and higher but the money/treasures earned were rather small upon completing each scene.
Summary: The graphics are quite beautiful and the music is very soothing. The concept of the game is good (find items, sell them and refurbish a castle), but the items are very hard to see, and once you struggle to find them you don't get much money for them and the items you need are very expensive. Which means it takes a looooooong time to refurbish your castle. In addition, you keep going back to the same cluttered rooms over and over and over.
