Summary: I am a longtime fan of Transport Tycoon Deluxe, and I must say I am disappointed in this supposed sequel. It offers absolutely nothing that TTD doesn't have and in at least one way (i.e., the way of building tracks and roads) is a very frustrating step back. If you have TTD, don't even consider this. Instead look at openTTD, a free game (you must have the TTD for windows disk to install).
Summary: Disappointing. Could be great if it actually worked. Set up 1 truck and worked fine , second truck set up exactly the same way and it just waits forever. Tried again (new game) set up second route first and this time it worked added the the first route and it didn't move. Similar thing happens with buses - first one OK subsequent ones get confused (either wait forever or drive around randomly not stopping for passengers).
Summary: hi I don't know if this happens a lot but I'm just a 15 year old kid and I wanted to buy this game because me and my uncle had great fun on it. so I bought it but it has completely wrecked my laptop!
Summary: Its a fun game! but the problem is don;t enjoy this for too long as every 20 mins it 'crashes'. This means the colours go negative and it freezes. The only way to stop this is by restarting the game. But the problem is if you saved your game it will remain in the negative colour. The only way to get it normal is to start a FRESH game.. Just play the demo!
Summary: This game is not like transport Tycoon ([...]) which is an infinately better game also developed by Chris Sawyer. The game took ages for me to get to work on windows 7 (which is says on front its compatible with), the graphics kept messing up. The game itself is very hard to get used to or play. I would buy transport tycoon Deluxe and download the openTTD to get a moderner version instead. The graphics are better, game play better all round better than this.
Summary: The manual is missing on the CD on the current ‘best of Atari’ edition.
They have included some ‘temporary place holder’ pdf files on the CD, but
forgotten to replace them with the actual manual.
This is going to be a pain even for an experienced Transport Tycoon Delux player
like myself because the mechanics have changed sufficiently for the transition
to be hard. There are aspects of this game I don't understand, and without the
manual ....... ?!?
