  • Summary: EasyGameStation is a doujin developer powered by fandom. Each of its games pay ode to the Japanese classics that came before them. Sometimes they feel like an inspired tribute ( Recettear ), while other times they border on being an unofficial sequel to an established franchise ( Gunners Heart ).

Chantelise: A Tale of Two Sisters

Game Boyz

  • Excerpt: Chantelise is a game with a bit of a curse. Specifically, a curse of difficulty and controls. Apart from that, it's a fun casual game, with some nice little touches and a good giggle now and then.

Chantelise – A Tale Of Two Sisters (PC) Review

  • Conclusion: It’s important to note that while I maybe very critical about this game, it’s because Chantelise teeters so close to being an excellent game but fails in a few spots that drags the entire game with it.  Chantelise borrows heavily from the Zelda Franchise.

  • Excerpt: Chantelise: A Tale of Two Sisters and I have a very love-hate relationship. I expected the same charm I got from Carpe Fulgur's first release Recettear , but instead ended up with a perky gem with a bad attitude.

  • Excerpt: Recettear was one of the best gaming surprises for me in 2010. Out of nowhere you get this tiny little Indie Japanese game which would normally have absolutely no chance of ever seeing an English localization and it turns out to be an incredibly addicting and unique title.

  • Conclusion: Chantelise has a few hiccups, but it is still well worth a playthrough.
  • Pros: Addictive combat, very good soundtrack, plenty of extras.
  • Cons: Poor controls, average story that Carpe Fulgur couldn't save.

Recensione Chantelise: A Tale Of Two Sisters

Everyeye Network
5 October 2011
  • Summary: Come mai quindi non sferzare l'amara frusta della bocciatura su Chantelise, dopo quanto scritto? Il motivo è semplice: Chantelise è divertente nella sua semplicità, complici il livello di difficoltà elevato e l'impronta inusuale di gioco.
