  • Summary: This is on of the greatest game. But it's hard do get it to work on windows 7. But you can download xp-mode. Then open xp-mode. Then install the game in xp-mode the fake c harddrive. Then copy the game. Go back to windows 7. Past it on your real harddrive there. Make a short cut on your desk top. Hold your mouse marker over the short cut. Then press the right mouse button. I don't know what it is in english.

The Greatest Football Manager Sim Ever

irishjack, amazon.co.uk
8 February 2010
  • Summary: This is simply the best, detailed but not overly complex, more recent CM are dumb and shallow and other manager sims are either statistically weak or overly forcussed on mundane minutae. Get this or 00/01 to see what computer gming use to about when games were built with love and care.

SKIBINSKI DAVID, amazon.co.uk

Pick the team, choose the tactics, change training, choose your backroom staff, allocate your scouts, buy players, sell players, fine players, negociate contracts, invest money on youth, build an academy, manage the reserve team, expand the stadium, apply for vacant managerial positions, resign,...

Even Better Than The Real Thing

stoffy, Ciao
7 September 2001
  • Excerpt: "Championship Manager is one of the best selling computer games ever on any format. A football management simulation, the secret of its success is the pure depth of the statistics that it contains as well as its incredible addictiveness. Once you start guiding Nuneaton Borough to the dizzy heights of 17th in the Nationwide Conference League, you'll know what I mean... A number of people may play the game, although it is probably best played alone. ...

Football for Amatures

Ste_cuppe..., Ciao
5 August 2001
  • Excerpt: "Championship Manager 99/00 is a great game. I myself am not a huge fan of football but love the game all the same. The matches are presented as a commentary and you decide whether or not to change tactics or make substitutions. You can chose which team to manage from a range of countries including ...
  • Pros: Great game that you can play forever
  • Cons: Too similar to the last one
