Experience the Life of a Football Manager
28 May 2011
Excerpt: "Having not played a Championship Manager title since Sports Interactive split with Eidos back in 2003 and Sports Interactive went on to form the Football Manager series; going into playing Championship Manager 2010 I really wasn’t sure what to expect. Tempted into purchasing the title due to its £2.51 price tag, the game was always likely to represent fantastic value for money, quite how the game would play however was to me an absolute mystery.
Pros: Fun game, cheap price .
Cons: Not as good as Football Manager, bugs should have been removed before release .
Summary: Before I meet my fiance, I had never heard of any of these manager games - I was happy playing super mario and that was about it. I could not understand how he could just sit for hours and hours and just play. So a couple of weeks ago I thought to myself "if you can´t beat them - join them!". So I installed it and as any other woman I read the instructions so I knew what I was doing. And before I knew it, I was hooked.
Excerpt: "A very average football management game that does nothing innovative to make it a must buy. It has your average tactics, scouting and media interaction that frankly, Football Manager was doing about 5 years ago. For an excessive price of £25, for a now outdated game it really isn't worth bothering - get yoursel Football Manager or wait for the new one in just a couple of months. The only part in which the game does excell is the 3D match engine ...
Championship Manager , Football Manager for beginners

Excerpt: "On the whole this game is quite good and i would give it 3 and half stars could i do so though over all for any seasoned football management game player it is just to easy, after all while you get to know the game too easily, who to sign who to play to win and there is very little room for manoeuvre. The tactical side of it seems to make very little difference and often straying from your basic 4-4-2 formation not matter how good your side is going ...
Pros: Easy to get to grips with , good graphics , great for first timer manager gamers
Cons: rigid , boring , all too familiar not for the pros
Conclusion: Up until the last few years i have alway been a massive CM fan, Downloaded the Demo, and found it was basically the same as the last 2 games realeased . Which i had major issues with. Since Eidos and SI games parted company CM games are just not the same. Stick to FM2010, as i am doing. Will never to back to play the Championship Manager games unless, it is drastically improved.
Good game a little slow but for £14.99 worth the money
1 May 2010
Conclusion: The game is quite slow when loading between each game. Mine hasnt crashed yet. Graphics and gameplay are great although I still prefer the older Champ Manager Games. I would give this game 7/10. For £14.99 if you have a good enough computer this game is a steal.
Conclusion: Just bought a new laptop and installed this championship manager on it and really notice the difference! Make sure you fufill the specs before you buy as it will seriously ruin your experience! I had a 1.6 dual core with 2GB RAM before and the game used to be so slow it was unreal! Now with a core i7 and 4GB the game just flies and everything is so much better because of it!
