Summary: As a long-time player of City of Heroes I had tried Champions Online when it first came out, but just couldn't get into it. Now that CoH is shutting down I had to reevaluate CO. I've tried CO and several other games, but nothing else really came close to CoH.
Summary: Well I'm not reviewing the game itself as most MMOs are a personal choice and are rarely influenced by subjective input. Instead I'm reviewing the Game Time Card. It really is a no brainer when you do the math: each month normally costs about $15 so anytime you can get time cheaper than that you buy...
Summary: As of 7/24/2014 these card still work and give you the full 60 days as promised. Recieved them about a weeks time. To activate, click the "Go Gold" tab on your Arc games launcher and it will direct you to the proper site to input product key.
Summary: All in all, I am very glad I purchased this game! I've been a subscriber since the Beta and I still look forward to sitting down and running through a few missions whenever I can.
Pros: Costume creator = OFF THE HOOK!!! Variety of enemies is really good, wide range of powers for your characters, the graphics are really excellent (make sure you have a good graphics card to take full advantage of the outstanding backgrounds/terrain), lots of "drops"
Cons: Cryptic does tend to keep monkeying with powers and their energy consumption/damage inflicted/cooldown times
Summary: The game's engine and premise for a lot of potential is apparent, but a lot of the potential is not yet implemented. For example more world interaction and puzzle concepts and power upgrades - what is there now is very basic, but show that the game can handle it with developer time.
Pros: Very Diverse Amazing future Potential due to combat/engine design • Customization - Amazing - Look and Powers - Be anything you can imagine. • Combat - Can act like a traditional MMO, or even a FPS The combat system is very powerful as you can literally dodge behind objects and fight more like yo...
Cons: It is new, there are some performance and other items they are adjusting, but it is getting better, so don't be afraid, as CoX was also like this at launch and now is smooth. (Some of same developers)
