Summary: This is a difficult game to rate. Graphically it is not bad at all. The HOG's are nothing special, bt not too bad. The minigames are quite easy. The music is ok. The problem is that the story is not ok. It is not very interesting to begin with. Often it makes no sense at all. Developments drop out of the air; There are lots of objects but you can only take them when the story allows you to. So lots of running around pointlessly.
Summary: Didn't like it because...1) below average graphics, 2) characters looked blocky & moved like robots, 3) too much mindless backtracking & the transitions between the scenes were bit slow, 4) didn't like the theme nor the story, 5) boring music, 6) boring puzzles. After 15 minutes, it was enough for me.
Summary: I am torn between 3 and 4 out of 5... shame I can't give half points. It's a bit too 'cutesy' a game for my liking. Most of the hidden objects are find 20 of the same thing and they really aren't that hard. They have tried hard to make you have to hunt by moving a few things, but it gets boring quickly. There are a few mini games but nothing very novel or challenging - more about how good your eye sight is than any logical thinking required.
Summary: I have plenty of time at the moment (hooray summer !) but not a lot of money to buy all those amazing collector editions so I have to make do with my usual site. All this to say that I try everything I can including this game. Unfortunately, bad timing you would say, I have just played Samhain which was a much better game exploiting the celtic lore with a more intelligent gameplay. If the art is pretty, the characters are just standard animation.
Summary: DISCLAIMER: I only played the free trial. My feelings about this game are mixed. While I liked the graphics and some of the mini games were good, there are too many problems for this to be a great game. One of the problems was that many of the tasks to be completed had nothing to with advancing the plot. You spend a lot of time doing tasks that don't help you find the brother. He is kidnapped by a fairy queen (and a very scantily clothed queen at that).
Summary: I agree very much with jkf's view, the setting is really nice, but they should have cared more about the history behind. This feels like a marketing decision: "We need a nice background for our game. Ideas?" "I think the celtic legends are not dealt with ad nauseam." "Oh great, we like that. Anyone knows anything about it? Not? OK, you have five minutes to read about it at Wikipedia, that should be enough.
Summary: Excellent fairy tale HOG. Interesting storyline quirky and varied minigames thrown in. Nice graphic and the music is very nice and fits the theme and I didn't find it at all intrusive while playing. I can say that I like it!
Summary: I found this game to be not bad. Nothing is really overwhelmingly hard but have to switch your brains sometimes.Nice graphic and story. I finished the game in three hours, but I enjoyed every one of them!
Summary: This is truly a delightful game. The storyline is very well developed and interesting.. I also like the unique story and the way it is developing. The characters are also interesting and unique. The music was a little intense at times, but overall it was tolerable. This was a game with promise.Just try it....I know you will be hooked.
