Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Revelations
31 March 2014
Excerpt: Coming just a month after Dracula's modern awakening, the Revelations DLC serves as a prologue to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, putting you in control of Alucard as he prepares the way for his father's return. Excerpt: You are Dracula. The Prince of Darkness, the dragon – Dracul. A villainous vampire lord turned moody anti-hero in Mercury Stream’s follow-up to the surprisingly enjoyable Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and its less enjoyable handheld sequel Mirror of Fate . Conclusion: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 does some things alright and some things really well. Excerpt: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is the final release in the heralded action series from developer MercurySteam. The release takes players to a new setting for the franchise and allows players to see the world from a different view, as Dracula is the game's main protagonist for the first time ever. Excerpt: When Konami originally announced that MercurySteam was developing a new 3D Castlevania, more than a few people were sceptical of the potential outcome. The 2D Castlevania games are stellar additions to the franchise, but Konami hadn't had the best of luck transitioning the series to 3D.
