Did not work

James, Amazon
14 June 2014
  • Summary: If you have Windows 7 do not buy this, it doesn't work on your system. It didn't even register that the disc was in the drive on my computer.

wow, can't believe anybody actually liked this joke of a game!

Pete Moss "Pete Moss", Amazon
23 August 2012
  • Summary: this game was so incredibly lame i honestly cannot believe other reviewers actually liked this piece of (rap! most reviews seemed like they were based on some romantic notion associated with long-past games of yesteryear. perhaps i just expected too much from a 5-year-old game? horribly outdated graphics! beyond-laughable voice-acting. inane AI. the only positive i've come up with is that the disc actually sailed better than any frisbee i've owned!

Thanks UbiSOFT and thanks Amazon

A. Raitano, Amazon

  • Summary: This game does not work unless you have the perfect system. Not a super fantastic up to date system, mind you, but one that falls within the narrow margins of acceptable hardware. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME if you don't have the requisite hardware. I can't return it (thanks Amazon) and UbiSOFT has done nothing to remedy the problem (Thanks UbiSOFT). Seriously, I just spent 10 bucks for absolutely NOTHING!!! I find this type of business practice shameful. Ridiculous.

Couldn't review cause it wouldn't play

15 March 2012
  • Summary: I read another review that talked about the game being incompatible with their video card, that seems to be my case as well. I have a newly built system, been playing plenty of other high-end games, but this one no luck.

Awful game

S. Brown "audioparagon", Amazon
27 June 2009
  • Summary: Terrible game. I don't know where the DX 10 elements are because this game reeks of 1998 graphics quality. It might be okay were it not for the cut scenes every 30 seconds. The action is nonexistent because you are constantly bombarded with cut scenes that never end, and there's no way to skip most of them. I got about 15 minutes into the game before uninstalling it in frustration. Seriously, avoid this one.

Hate to bash it....

James Douglas Richardson, Amazon
3 May 2009
  • Summary: WELL, the game looked good enough, and I was excited to pull it out of the mailbox and put it in drive.. Up it came on my screen and away I went....in a singular dirrection. The control was a huge dissapointment, you have to use the mouse to turn left or right, and you cannot rely solely on the keyboard.

Totally unplayable for windows 8, DON'T PURCHASE UNTIL FIXED

Sanjeev Khadka "ourownparadize", Amazon
29 May 2008
  • Summary: I bought the digital download version of this game as it's on sale. Now, after wasting my hours on download and installing the game along with the updates from ubisoft; I can't play at all. This is not an isolated problem. Go to http://steamcommunity.com/app/21980/discussions/0/846940247707819457/#p2 and you can see others having the same problem too. It doesn't matter whether you gonna play through steam or directly clicking the shortcut from your machine.

Juarez: Not So Golden

gabe549, Ciao
28 July 2011
  • Excerpt: Despite a vastly successful century of classic western films and then the spaghetti resurrections native to the 1960s, game developers have been visibly resistant in translating John Wayne and Charles Bronson to the digital realm, preferring instead to focus on more modern titles. Considering the facts surrounding this era of American history and the films based off it, the present trend is not so difficult to explain.
  • Pros: Ray's voice is fantastic, fun gun duels, bow hunting
  • Cons: Platforming is broken, unbalanced gameplay
