Summary: I have to say that I have enjoyed playing this game. When I first purchased the game I was running it on a HP DC5700 SFF desktop with an added Zotac Ion graphics card and 3.5 GB of ram. The game actually ran alright on lower settings. When I tried to increase the video setting in the game, the game play seemed to lag more that I liked, but was still playable with some annoyance.
Summary: I got into gaming very late in life and I guess my chosen type of game is a first person shooter. That and being a product of the 50's cowboy movies/programs made this game attractive. Easy play and fun. I guess this game and it's visuals are antiquated by today's standards, but still enjoyable. Did I mention cost as a major consideration. I could and would not spend what is required to own a new release game.
Summary: I played the second one first, Bound in Blood, which was a better quality play. This one isn't bad, but Bound in Blood is playable over and over. The vendor I purchased it from worked out very well.
Summary: I just don't care for 'race against the clock while jumping through hoops' types of games. I tried too many times to 'sneak out of town' and got killed every time. Although I did enjoy "Gun", this game was just too difficult for me.
Summary: I had played four fantasy themed RPG's in a row and was looking for something different when I came upon this game. (I couldn't find a Western RPG but thought I'd give this shooter a try - got it used for $3.99) The worst feature of the game was the very linear nature of it. A couple of times I got stuck and had to go to an online walkthrough to find out how to proceed.
Summary: Despite some critical reviews of this game, I found it unique and enjoyable. It may be repetitive with some annoying enemies (ie. wolves), but I really enjoyed stealth killing bandits with a bow and arrow. Overall I found this a fun game and very much worth it's current low price.
Summary: I have to say that this is the best western I have played since Lucasart's Outlaws. The game is definately unique and has a mixed pace throughout the game. I found myself struggling to keep up at times and at other times I found myself having to think through the game pretty hard. This is a difficult game and if your looking for that action buzz, this isn't the game for you. This is a very story driven game with lots of landscapes and different situations to deal with.
