Call Of Duty; World at War

Summary: The Graphics are good. (Banana Trees, Buildings) The acting & Reverse Discrimination is Pathetic in solo computer mode. My ride in the Tank was more like driving a Child's Toy. I have now played the Multi-Player Mode & it was challenging. I would say it is a little too fast paced, but good. As a consumer, I am looking for action pack FUN! Not Historical Facts, & Reverse Discrimative Remarks from Game Characters.
Call of Duty: World at War (PC): Call of Duty: Review of War

Summary: Call of Duty: World at War, is a very good game. The single player mode is fun and can be challenging to play thorugh. If you like first person shoot em ups, then this is definatly a game to play. The single player mode is fairly short, I managed to compleate it in a few days. however the game offers the online challenge of playing against people from around the world and fighting in a series of different arenas, like classic deathmatch or caputre the flag.
Pros: Fun to play solo, and also a great multiplayer element.
Summary: This game a clone of COD4, but set back in WW2. But that doesn't make it a good thing. The game is OK/good, but is nothing special compared to COD4. Same graphics, but game play is lacking. Due to possible rush to release. I still play COD4 rather than this, even though i have both. On multiplayer you can cheat through ranks, which is impossible on COD4.
Summary: Introduction I was really looking forward to the release of CoD 5 as i loved CoD 2 and wanted to go back to the WWII setting with similar weapons. I felt CoD 4 had taken a step back graphically and was hoping that CoD 5 would bring everything good about CoD together. Unfortunately i was disappointed. Game Play At first i was reasonably happy. The graphics were fantastic and the weapons all looked very familiar.

Summary: With yet another return to World War 2, Treyarch attempts to outdo Infinity Ward's massively successful Call Of Duty 4. With somewhat similar graphics and gameplay mechanics, can they reinstate World War 2 as the king of gunplay setting? The answer is no, although a meekly admitted rejection, as Call of Duty: World At War offers some good single player moments and a fairly engaging multiplayer.
Summary: I am myself, a dedicated gamer. Participating in clan wars and leagues is fantastic. I can honestly say that when COD4 was released it became my favourite all time shoot em up. COD: World At War was released in the US before the UK which seems to happen a lot and really frustrated me as I was looking forward to a much improved version of COD4. If I had known that there wasn't really anything to get your pants in a knot about I wouldn't have been so enthusiastic.
Summary: The fifth installment in the Call of Duty franchise takes us back to WW2, but does it take us back to the Call of Duty UO and CoD2 days? Well, yes and no. The game falls somewhere between the earlier games and CoD4. In theory this should mean it appeals to anyone who's ever enjoyed a Call of Duty game. Unfortunately, the reverse is probably closer to the truth. Personally, I prefer CoD2 over all the others and I was left feeling disappointed.
Conclusion: Call of Duty Modern Warfare was a major step forwards for a venerable franchise. It stepped out of its comfort zone, and attempted to turn its own brand of frenetic first-person shooter action away from the confines of the overused arenas of the Second World War and into the near future and a hypothetical modern day conflict.
Summary: Good game, single player:
Suffers from invisible walls and clipping issues. Multiplayer was fairly good, as in COD 4 Zombees: Brains: mm yes, this level is available after completing single
player and can be done co-op with 4 people. Think counter-strike like buying
weapons and boarding up windows by paying points you earn from kills to slow
swarms of zombies. This may just be the level you and your Lan buddies want as
the waves are endless.
