Summary: Game is fine. I love the game, to be honest, but this is the most complicated thing I've ever used in my life. Punkbuster stopped supporting them, and before you could play, you had to install Punkbuster. So, it took me a good 2 hours to install Punkbuster. I get on and start to play multiplayer. Punkbuster kicks me out, though I wasn't cheating. It's a common problem, so save the trouble and don't buy it. It's not worth it.
Summary: I had this game on the 360 and played it till the disk broke. So now that I have made the switch to PC I had to try this out. Works great. Still alot of people playing M.P. I have had no troubles with the game running or getting into working lobbies. This is currently the only version still playable seeing as how 360 and PS3 are hacked beyond belief.
Runs smoothly on Windows 8.1! So happy to see this work with Steam!
The Shadow Warrior, Amazon
13 October 2014
Summary: Was definitely worth the 20 bucks! Note: If you want to download this for Steam, all you have to do is buy the product from Amazon but do not download the installer. Instead, go to your games library in Amazon, and you should see a product code under World at War. Go to Steam and under the games tab select Activate a product on Steam and you are set! If you do not want it for Steam, then just simply let Amazon do its job.
Summary: Oh how i missed World At War, i would miss playing the multiplayer and the original zombies, with its amazing graphics and a story that well most world war 2 games tell, just relive the past and the multiplayer still my favorite, before call of duty went to doody. i added bots mod (which i recommend) because i can not find 1 single game online.
Summary: Thank you everyone for making custom zombie maps. After enjoying Black Ops and Black Ops 2 zombies and ALL of the expansion maps, I have been waiting for the next COD zombie game with little hope. Until one day I found out about custom maps for Call of Duty World at War. I am saved for I have hour upon hour of new maps to download and play...all for free. I bought the Steam download for $20, a $30 Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for the PC and I am in heaven.
