Summary: Overpriced garbage. Nothing new in this installment of CoD. Another console port with promises of the PC version being superior. Short campaign with no big memorable moments. The campaign is linear with no lenience as to where the player goes. I regret buying this game.
Summary: The multiplayer doesn't work right on PC. Many people are reporting performance problems, and I am no exception. The game stutters horribly in multiplayer to the point where I haven't been able to play the game.
OK Game, Not as good as previous title. NO CO-OP MODE!

Summary: First off, I have to say the game plays smoothly on my system. (I7 920 Quad/GTX460/6 Gig Ram, Win7 64bit) Don't know what the min specs are. I have been playing COD's since the beginning and have always enjoyed the fact that each one was better then the previous one.
Summary: with all the cut scenes in this game it not that long of game play. Id say I wasted my money on a game thats worth $20.00. the game industry has gottin cheap these days. its a good game but like I said a waste og money for the amount of game play.
Summary: A game with loads of potential that wasn't properly beta tested. The game is fun, but there is still loads of lag and freezing issues w/ the PC version. I've played through the campaign and feel that it was on par w/ the MW2 campaign.
Summary: I found the single player to be kind of annoying to many explosions and to big to much action. The pacing is hard and fast but it never varies. I found the pacing better in the other COD 4 games much better. Running this on my older gaming system it crashes on anything beyond 800x600.
Summary: Others have pointed out some of the technical details, so just say that I had some of the same ones others are reporting. As far as the campaign, it was just so underwhelming. First, once you do finish it, the cut scenes and long monologue commentary slows the pace of the game down badly.
Excerpt: You may already have got an idea how much I dislike Call of Duty Black Ops simply from the headline. Make no mistake, it sold quite substantially and broke previous records set by Modern Warfare 2, but that doesn't necesarrily make it a good game.
Summary: I have a solid collection of Call of Duty games having played every genre that Activision has ever released. The Black Ops game for PC starts with a massively long and completely over the top intro which flashed before my eyes, is almost painful to watch and which cannot be aborted.
Summary: I purchased this with high hopes but am hugely disappointed. Single player is ok but spoilt in part by long cut scenes that seem to take an eternity to finish. Duration is also somewhat short with most reasonably experienced FPS players being able to complete in a few hours - not good value at all.
