Summary: Considering the age of this game, it should run as smooth as silk on modern graphics cards. The fact is it has enough bumps and stalls in game play to make it barely playable, as a matter of fact I gave up half way through and erased it from my hard drive.
Took about 2 hours of research to get this game to work properly
5 January 2011
Summary: Update #2: Have OS X 10.7 or later? Don't expect this game to run properly. Apple killed off the "Rosetta" in OS X 10.7, which is why I still haven't upgraded OS X as of the end of 2012. - - - Update #1: I have gotten the game working after hours of online research looking for a fix.
Summary: Call of Duty 2 is essentially identical to the first game. There are a few new weapons which I believe are most accurately and fairly described as "sorta neat", and obviously, the graphics have received a huge boost as well. That's really about it, however.
Summary: I'm a big fan of first person shooters, especially WWII based ones. But sometimes a game falls far short of the hype and I fear that Call of Duty 2 is one those. I played and loved the original Call of Duty and bought the sequel because of that.
Strongly recommended NOT to buy - bugs make this game unplayeable

Summary: If this game worked properly I would be more than happy to give this game 4 stars. Unfortunately, the game still has several severe bugs that make it all but unplayeable. The problems are entirely due to the mission scripting, not the actual game engine.
Summary: I couldn't wait for this game. At the same time, I have never been so disappointed. I think I would rather play COD again than re-live this particular episode. I don't know how the xbox game is, and I'm sure it's better, but, for PC, I would skip this.
Summary: Typically as I heard about Call Of Duty 2 I thaught that it would be a good game as was UO ( The earliest CoD game before CoD2). As I baught it I realized what a waste of my money. The Game is horrible gameplay. The sotryline is more or less good.
Great single player, ok multi-player if you dont mind no anti-cheat

Summary: This isn't COD:UO2 this is COD2. But with the lacking of a anti-cheat that could have been built in with the release of this game has made the multiplay side of this game rather disappointing.
