Summary: However this may be a great game (which it is), the seller didnt have the decency to send it in a box! Sad, but if you dont mind minor details, a great and long game like this for under $4 is a very good deal
Summary: I have owned this game for several years and played it many many times. It's based on a cool concept and if you aren't picky about the "small stuff" and can overlook some details, you can have many hours of fun. BUT.. and this is what made me stop playing it completely...
Summary: I played this game for a couple of months earlier this year, and enjoyed it very much. It was very exciting when you got to the point where you were generating money, pleasing Caesar, and increasing the population. There are two big problems, though.
Excerpt: Caesar III is a historic city-building game set in the Roman Empire. The game is produced by Sierra a Entertainment on September 30, 1998. Similar games are Pharaoh, Cleopatra, Zeus: Master of Olympus and Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom produced by the company with the same name.
Pros: Expanding and managing a great city is really fun
Excerpt: I would just like to write a review on Caesar 3, which is another of those great simulation games that were produced for the PC. Being sold through the bargain priced lines these days, it can be found in most shops that still sell PC games (or online at places such as Amazon and Ebay also).
Excerpt: Oh! This is cool. I'm going to win a lot of money. Thank you dooyoo. Come on bastards, stop me if you can Oh! This is cool. I'm going to win a lot of money. Thank you dooyoo. Come on bastards, stop me if you can Oh! This is cool. I'm going to win a lot of money. Thank you dooyoo.
Summary: Hi, I enjoyed ceaser 2 more. But the graphic on this are a bit better. No bigger map to march around. Harder because you have to build around obsticles, less space in general. Old game though, and on hard really difficult, so a good challenge.
Summary: In a nutshell: Caesar 3 is a great game let down only by the poor programming of disasters in your city. Your perfect city can be turned upside down by a monumental outburst of freak fires and building collapses in an instant, leaving you with a city full of rubble and nothing else.
