Summary: Visually the game has a distinct, hand-drawn art style, with a vibrant colour palette that creates a lively world. It is unfortunate though that the settings in this world, while diverse and well-realised, aren’t particularly numerous.
Summary: First, I am a backer. Which means: for every positive review I am considered a fanboy, for every negative review I just did not understand what I was backing. That sad: a funny old-style adventure was promised. They got 10 times the money they asked for.
Summary: Broken Age never delivers on the initial promise of an amazing adventure in the style of classic adventures from the 90's. It's a decent game though, especially Act 1 while the Act 2 seems rushed and with bad/random puzzle design.
Summary: Why so low on PSVITA? First : Because I'm pissed that I wasn't able to finish the game, because I didn't know I needed to take a picture of every pattern of every puzzle (end of act 2) and got stuck with no turning back...
Summary: What is this game?!: A point and click adventure game with two protagonists that you switch between and solve puzzles and meet quirky characters!! Pros: -Great writing and voice acting -Beautiful graphical style -The logic is zany but only mildly so making the puzzles much more..
Summary: Broken Age was a disaster of a puzzle game and I was so frustrated by the second half. It destroyed any hope of a good game that existed in the first half. THE PUZZLES WERE RIDICULOUS, OBSCURE, UNINTUITIVE, AND JUST TERRIBLY ANNOYING.
Summary: I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. It's gorgeous, it has a nice story beginning to end, the characters are likeable, and the music and voice acting is excellent. (I'm reviewing the whole game because there is only one game, it's not two parts.
Summary: I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. It's gorgeous, it has a nice story beginning to end, the characters are likeable, and the music and voice acting is excellent. I'm pretty okay at adventure games, but not the best.
Summary: Broken Age starts off promising with gorgeous visuals and solid voice acting. The wildly imaginative areas introduced in the first act are beautifully creative. The characters you meet are quirky and mysterious. The gameplay starts pretty simple and typical of old school point and click games.
Summary: A complete disappointment and abandonment of the premise. Rather than continue the character development and story telling from the first act, it **** the bed and throws a garbage conclusion together that raises far more questions than answers. What a waste.
