Summary: Dorian Gray Syndrome has been a very interesting experience, and covers a quite unusual, rather grisly theme, somewhat reminiscent of Damien Hirst and his art. The dialogue was very well written and full of portent. This game has the potential to be a five star game with the following improvements. Some of the items (especially the hidden objects) were difficult to click on.
Summary: I am torn between 4 and 5 stars. I really liked this game, but I have to give it 4 stars because I had to go to the walkthrough a couple of times to keep playing. The art is very well drawn, the voice acting is very interesting, and I thought there was a good balance between HO scenes and puzzles. I wish the map feature would have been more helpful because of the vast amounts of backtracking. I had a hard time remembering exactly where I needed to return to.
Summary: I quite liked this one. The 3D animation was really good as were the VO's. The characters were very believable. There was a lot to do. A ton of inventory items and best of all lots of puzzles. And some of the best puzzles were in the extra chapter making it worthwhile playing. I almost never play the extra but did so here because I didn't want the game to end. That says something.
Summary: Brink is something different in the deluge of FPS games hitting the stores over the past few years. For once, you can slide over a desk and blow some poor sap away on the other side, then just keep moving. Gun customization and selection is awesome, allowing you to build a Magnum with a scoped sight and silencer if you so choose. The guns range from a small, underpowered pistol to a massively long and devastating sniper rifle.
Pros: Fluid movement, Guns look and sound great, Game has a unique style
Cons: Short campaign, Small maps get boring, AI in the campaign can be pretty dumb
Summary: This is a pretty entertaining game if you can you overlook the very ridiculous plot and deal with lots of dialogue – some reviewers found this tiresome, but I found it interesting and added to the sense of “being in” the story. True, some of the dialogue doesn’t ring true – incidents of modern slang creep through. However, the voice actors are quite good and distinctive.
Summary: Its a amazing game that takes a fresh view to FPS games. I would definitively buy this game for friends to play with. Also i love how the game look and the style of it. Very fun, Very Good Must Buy!
Pros: Fun, Addictive, Feels refreshing when it comes to FPS( meaning not the same stuff like cod and etc..)
Summary: I'll give this adventure HOG credit for trying to do something different, namely, base the game on assisting a detective who is trying to solve a series of murders in turn of the century England. Nice change of pace from amulet hunts and lunatics trying to take over the universe that only YOU can save. Highest marks for very professional voice acting.
Summary: This was a very challenging and highly alluring game! I know the plot is not new, but for some reason I wanted to keep playing. Enjoyed the crisp graphics, and chilling music. Lots of hos, and a handful of some of the most challenging puzzles I've ever played. I skipped a few of them because I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do, and I don't normally like doing that. Didn't care too much for Oscar's commentary for almost every other scene.
