To much traveling!

Darla Proctor "dajean", Amazon
11 November 2014
  • Summary: I can honestly say that this is the first time I just quit playing a game. I got so tried of having to go back and forth, upstairs, downstairs, from one room to the next that I just quit! You spend to much time traveling room to room, and there are dozens of rooms.

It was free

JOCELYN M., Newegg
25 February 2013
  • Summary: Just make sure you put the right bar code in when you are preparing the mail in rebate. There are two codes. The one I got is not the same as the one on the product page. Don't fill out the forms until you get the game.
  • Pros: Free.
  • Cons: I hate to rip on a game that was free, but after playing it for a few minutes, I realized why newegg was giving this game away. The graphics look like something from an N64 but in 1080p. The gameplay is annoying. It takes a full magazine from a full auto machine gun pointed at an enemy's chest ju...

Too Much Talking

Iris N. Jordan "Domestic Goddess", Amazon
22 February 2013
  • Summary: This game is very predictable and the narrator (who is suppose to be the bad guy in the game) talks too much and I found myself muting him.

  • Summary: I'm odd man out on this one (or odd girl, I guess). But seriously this is more of a bad tv series or movie than a game. I really don't like the amount of time spent in dialogue and since there's no journal you must listen to it. The game play is minimal and obvious so I'm less than impressed.

Brink...

John R., Newegg
8 November 2011
  • Summary: The multiplayer (the whole selling point of this game. Oh, right, like TF2,) differs wildly. Sometimes you get the sensation that you are actually having fun, until you realize that this particular mission has 15 minutes left and there is an extension if the wrong team loses, giving them another 15...
  • Pros: There is an upgrade system... Let's see, here... That's it. I have nothing else to say for its pros.
  • Cons: A lot of people put SMART movement in the pros, but really, just don't put random terrain all over the freaking map (most of the time to where if you are a heavy you have to take an incredibly long way around) and there is no need for it. This game tried (TRIED! didn't accomplish, in any way) to ...

If you have a lot of friends that have this or will buy it with you, then get it, otherwise dont, the AI is horrrrrrrrible!!

JG, Amazon
27 August 2011
  • Summary: So this game is meant to be played multiplayer WITH people. I know that, and you should keep that in mind. But since everyone else plays battlefield or COD your more often than not forced to play with AI.

Disappointed!

Jerry "Gerald K Rolfe", Amazon
8 July 2011
  • Summary: I thought this game would kick but soon found a game that feels unfinished ,unpolished, and runs like crap on a computer running all new hardware. What a disappointment. I feel like I got ripped off for $49. Should sell for half that price.

Brink

Robert S., Newegg
14 June 2011
  • Summary: My largest gripe lies in the repetition associated with playing Brink. The fact that there are only 10 maps played via two perspectives, only serves to exacerbate that feeling of déjà vu. The game is in desperate need of more content for the player to become engrossed.
  • Pros: * Class based gameplay * Free to switch between classes during level * Free running mechanic * Character customization
  • Cons: * Bugs and mas bugs * Incomplete features viewable but unimplemented * Texture pop in on occasion * Redundant gameplay

Dissapointing, Feels like a beta

Timothy G., Newegg
12 June 2011
  • Summary: There only 8 maps total to play on and some are designed in such a way that that if the attacking team does not clear the first area quick enough it becomes impossible to leave the starting spawn area.
  • Pros: Interesting Movement system. Voice Acting is Ok. Lots of gun and character customization options. Large progressive maps. No killstreaks! Definate rewards for team play The Movement systerm is tricky to master at first but you can really bounce around the walls if you get the hang of it. There ar...
  • Cons: AI is very VERY stupid Grapicly optimization is poor. A very short very Blah story. only 8 maps to total. Many multiplayer bugs. Some maps are poorly balanced. The AI in this game can be frustrating at times. Single player Team mates seam to choose which objective to go after on an equal chance b...
