Bright Shadow is a PC game developed and published by Gamespot USA, Inc. The game features its own ever-changing weather system and is a game focused on combat with deadly monsters. It is also a game of social functions, which features guilds and up to 20 unique classes. This high number of classes, which is not common within traditional MMORPGs; makes the game ideal for hardcore and casual audiences. Bright Shadow also includes a Monster Card system that can be used to give the player a variety of abilities (including monster summons), a “Soul Power” collection system that help gamers boost their skills, the ability to tailor make items through crafting and an original pet systems. These features provide gamers with a customizable function that produces individual characters.

Bright Shadow is a game that is presented in full 3D, and adopts an anime-inspire style with an array of monster designs. The game is set in a lush game world complete with an almost endless option for gamers to customize their characters. The game features a weather system and social features such as friend’s list, in-game mail system, party matchmaking, Mentor System, Guilds (ranking, in-game hall, bulletin boards) and more. Gamers can choose from 20 class archetypes, such as warriors, mages, machinists and clerics, to name a few. Set in the land of Umbra, gamers are task to battling hundreds of monsters and are able to absorb the ‘Soul Power’ from slain enemies through the Soul Power System. It is used for a variety of purposes, including skill and spell activation, production, to start up guilds, raising pets and more.
