Possibly the best indie video game ever made

Daniel Files, Amazon
31 August 2014
  • Summary: One of the greatest indie puzzle games (let alone, puzzles games in general) that I've ever played! The mechanics of each level changes, and you're always able to go back in time when either avoiding death and/or solving puzzles (kinda like Prince of Persia, but the gameplay is even more dependent...

Playing this game was a great experience!

NicNic8 "nicho8", Amazon
2 July 2014
  • Summary: The puzzles are difficult and unique. The game play is very interesting. The graphics are beautiful (though simple). The double meanings behind everything is what makes the game special. I love this game, and am unhappy only that it ended. Playing this game was a great and meaningful experience.

Goombas be mating with some lions, it's Puzzle Time!

Jasor the Great, Amazon
12 June 2014
  • Summary: In Braid, you play as Tim, a man on a quest to save the princess. Don’t be fooled by the simplistic set-up and familiar trappings of the platforming genre. While Braid clearly pays homage to Mario with enemies that look like Goombas mated with lions, the game is more about puzzle solving than...

Brain Food

M. McNeil, Amazon
16 December 2013
  • Summary: Although the game has a lovely aesthetic, the real appeal is the 'solve the puzzle' aspect. If you're looking for an action game, you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking to challenge you creative problem solving, Braid is very good bet.

Pleasantly Surprised

modifidita, Amazon
7 November 2013
  • Summary: When I first ordered this product, I was expecting to receive a disc that allows me to undo mistakes in REAL life. THIS IS NOT WHAT THE DISC DOES. I guess I didn't read the description very carefully, because what I got was a GAME.

The only game I've never felt guilty about playing

David W. Kikuchi, Amazon
8 May 2013
  • Summary: This is a brilliantly original game. It's hard, though, and that's the point. A little manual dexterity is required, but the cruxes of every level are puzzles that must be solved using spatial-temporal reasoning.

Amazing Ending

TeriDactyl, Amazon
9 March 2013
  • Summary: On the surface, it's just another old platformer. But when you really begin to get the hang of the game and play with the dynamics, it is incredible. It is also one of the most difficult games I've ever played. Look, I'll admit it right now...I cheated.

Great gift for the BF

Reincloud13, Amazon
18 February 2013
  • Summary: If you are looking for a great "puzzle" game for your nerdy (yet sexy), xbox loving, computer game playing boyfriend, this is a great option. My BF is stoked on it. Definitely a game that will add variety to all the 1st person shooter crap out there. LIMBO is another great option.

A brilliant mind-twister that breaks new ground in video games

Tron has no games, Amazon
1 August 2012
  • Summary: Like many of the "indie" games that have released in recent years for PC and console, Braid is a difficult game to describe to someone who has not experienced it for themselves. If forced to categorize it, puzzle-platformer would be the genre that most closely describes it, but Braid is so much more...

For $1.50? Pick this up!

Alex Stumpf, Amazon
20 January 2012
  • Summary: Braid is, in a word, unique. It's got a little bit for everyone: terrific platforming elements, extremely difficult puzzles, unique abilities and power-ups for each level, enchanting graphics, a beautiful soundtrack, and a very symbolic story and ending that can be interpreted as an allegory for the...
