Summary: My review is going to be very basic as most of the aspects of this game has already been covered from years of review of this great game. Yes, this game is a lot like Mario Kart. But it is much more sophisticated than the game it imitates. For one the graphics is much better.
Summary: If you like Mario Kart Wii, this is a decent game that plays in a similar way. The Wii controls are much better, I definitely miss the steering wheel with this game. This game is much more "serious" than Mario Kart.
Summary: I bought this game for my husband for his birthday. I expected it to come late, and warned him that part of his gift would be late. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up ON his birthday! The game was in excellent condition, and my husband is having great fun with it.
Summary: After playing most of the racing sims on the PS3 platform, I was looking for a racing game that isn't simply driving from point A to B. I came across Blur and decided to give it a shot, and was pleasantly surprised at how fun it is.
Summary: Some people reviewed this game saying it's a hard game. It's really not. I am a 21 year old girl and i found it to be simple and fun and easy to master. It IS like mario cart with the fact that you use the power ups to take out other people or slow them down, but it's much cooler because it's more...
Summary: Too arcadey. You cannot buy or upgrade cars. The in-game camera can only be switched in 2 positions, the physics are ok more or less, but could be a lot better (why does a car reset when it's turned the wrong way - i still do not understand). Well - it's a port! And that says a lot.
Summary: It plays good, although the AI opponents are pretty easy to beat, and just dont seem very realistic. Still a fun game though. Graphics are great as well. Trying to play 4 player split screen is what knocks off a star.
Summary: Blur is one of those games that you can't believe no is talking about. Blur is an arcade racing game made my the same team who made Project Gotham Racing. It's essentially Mario Kart for hardcore racing fans. The game features numerous power ups that help you during races.
Summary: While playing the game you will quickly understand why this is fun: it's something different, which is something hard to accomplish in the racing genre. It's not as aggressive Burnout but not as theatrical as Split/Second either.
