Summary: I never played Mario Cart, but the Jak franchise on PS2 had a spinoff game called Jak X: Combat Racing. I played that game a lot. They ported the Jak RPG games over to PS3, but they didn't do that for the racer. Too bad. Blur is similar to the Jak game - you obtain power ups by driving over them, and use the power ups to gain the edge over the other racers. This game has eight different power ups - some are for defense/speed boost, the rest are for attack.
Awesome racing game for four player split screen action.

Summary: I really enjoy racing games and this one is my favorite. Blur has a four player split screen mode so up to four people can play at once. Theres lots of cars to unlock such as fords, chevys and audi's. The cars are ranked from A to D. A cars are advanced cars and D cars are weaker and slower. Online play has lots of weapon mod features and enables voice chat.
Summary: I have bought this game 4 times because people play our game & love it so much they say they want it, so I buy for their birthday. It is great for any age. I have bought for my children, my nephews & , my adult friends.
Summary: If you like Mario Kart Wii, this is a decent game that plays in a similar way. The Wii controls are much better, I definitely miss the steering wheel with this game. This game is much more "serious" than Mario Kart.
Summary: I bought this game for my husband for his birthday. I expected it to come late, and warned him that part of his gift would be late. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up ON his birthday! The game was in excellent condition, and my husband is having great fun with it.
