Summary: Most people right away will assume this is just a newer version of the Mutant League games due to the cover being kind of similar. Those people will be wrong ;). I had read some poor reviews for this game and decided to give it a whirl on PSP, I liked it so much I went out and bought it on XBOX 360...
Summary: Let me begin by stating that I have played the original table top Blood Bowl game for many years, so the overall game is not a new experience to me. I have read many people trying to say it is a rip-off of this or that and let me be clear - it most definitely is not!
Summary: This game is based on an old RPG-type board game. I never played it. I did play Mutant League Football for Sega Genesis eons ago and was looking for a similar game (since EA is doing nothing with the property). This game is nothing like that (except for the maiming).
Summary: Based on the the table top game by Games Workshop, Blood Bowl combines American style football and the fantasy world of Warhammer. Build your own team and take them on the Road to the Blood Bowl Cup. You can play as Human, Orc, Dwarf, Elf, Chaos, Skaven, Goblin, and The Lizardmen.
Summary: I was a fan of the board game, and this not only recreates the game on PC, not an easy thing but adds to the game, with improved rules and game play. I must for anyone who as ever played the board game!
Summary: Good Fun game. Quite a tactical game which requires a bit of working out. I played the board game and this is a faithful representation. Only thing which lets it down is key strokes are not intuitive. For the price I paid a good game.
Summary: Pros- A faithful port of the board game to the PC. Beautifully designed players, again, faithful to the board game. Visible changes to characters as they advance in skill, giving them a more imposing presence. Hot-Seating, allowing you to play a game of Blood Bowl with your mate at home.
