Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition

Strategy Informer
6 October 2011
  • Conclusion: But then you have to imagine that those people already have Blood Bowl , and outside of the roster update it's difficult to see what they'll gain from purchasing the Legendary Edition . The new arenas look pretty enough, but bringing the total to nine is hardly earth-shattering, whilst the singleplayer AI hasn't been overhauled to provide a different singleplayer experience. Is £20-25 too much to ask for the additional races then?

Test Blood Bowl

Generation NT
23 April 2010

Faithfully Brutal

Game Debate
28 June 2009
  • Excerpt: If Darwin was still alive and working in the IT department on floor 5, would this be his defining moment? An evolution of species, albeit Greenskins and Ratmen, transcending from classic board game into the modern medium we understand as digital media.
  • Pros: Its Blood Bowl, Faithful reproduction, Loyal community
  • Cons: PRICE, Limited broad appeal

Blood Bowl (BloodBowl)

impulsegamer
1 June 2009
  • Excerpt: American Football meets Warhammer is probably the best way to describe Cyanide Studio's latest sporting epic called Blood Bowl which throws gamers into this deadly universe. Apart from sporting and a healthy dose of violence, there is even some RPG and management aspects added to the game to keep things quite original and fresh.

Blood Bowl Review

AusGamers
23 October 2009
  • Conclusion: The multiplayer lobby is somewhat confusing and lacking in tools to get up and running, but once this hurdle has been overcome the online options are a Bloodbowl veteran’s dream. Coaches can match up with others based on their Team’s Rating, having a more rookie team (and therefore lower Team Rating) is balanced by pre-game "inducements" such as Referee Bribes or all important extra dice "re-rolls", that can alleviate frustration levels against your team of noobs, and...
  • Pros: Its BloodBowl brought to life, Multiplayer options are excellent, expansive and non-threatening
  • Cons: Between game interface is clunky, Missing some foundation teams, Not quite there with the rules, Inaccessible to newbies
