Summary: Although it featured a more typical vampire plot, I like the added storyline of the fountain. I would've rated this to 4 stars, but the length of the game made me downgrade to 3 - it was rather short; I played a total of 40 minutes after the demo before finishing the game. This game had lots of HO searches, and simplistic puzzles. Definitely a casual game, and at some points it almost reminded me of the old school Castlevania platform games from Nintendo.
Summary: I knew I had to purchase this game when during the opening scene, Ruby picked up a bloody letter opener and was able to «operate» it on the law enforcement officer who had just refused her entry to a crime scene she wanted to pass through. «Oh no! Is she going to be one of those helicopter siblings who’ll do anything to help her brother?!» Alas, she was only presenting possible evidence. This game takes a light-hearted approach to a spooky subject.
Summary: This game was all about fun. It certainly didn't take itself too seriously. There was a vampire element but there was none of the more grusome stuff associated with that. it was all pretty lighthearted. Bright with tons of color, this game offered mega HO scenes, lots of interaction with the characters, a pretty good storyline and very easy puzzles. No stress or racking your brain to solve this mystery. It is fun, bright and has some cheesy italian music that I liked.
Summary: Didn't like this game. Graphics/artwork were rough & looked quite cheap. Some items were almost impossible to identify as a result. Scenes were messy. I tried to like this game but after 15 minutes of play, it just didn't do it for me.
Summary: This almost ranks a 5 as there is so much to like in this HOG/adventure. The search scenes themselves are fantastic, colorful and really fun to look around in. Wonderful items to find like peacock feathers and roses, gems, great costume items and other such pleasing to the eye and enjoyable to look for stuff. And even though it is yet another vampire-themed entry, the plot in this one actually does make sense.
Summary: I have nothing groundbreaking to say but I liked this game...alot! Evidently I don't give care about the subject matter, I am only here/there for the task at hand. I found my way around this area without a map BUT gotta admit when one sees a "comment" in bright red regarding a location...well, duh, I'd go there and VOILA the game continued! I found the music unobtrusive and rather enjoyable. For a complete explanation of this game PLAY IT...really it's fun!!
Summary: I really liked Blood and Ruby. While parts of it are a little too easy and a bit weak, the game is strong enough to hold your interest and is fairly well done compared to some of the things that are out now. I was pleased with the vampire storyline, and I sense maybe a sequel here. The story takes place in italy as Ruby searches for relics to the fountain of youth to free her brother Marcus, who has been captured by vampires.
Summary: I didn't read the other reviews but I'm betting none was a bit upset as I was when I ended up finishing this game. The beginning leads to a promising outcome but it fell short real quick. I'm not a fan of vampire genre and this game helped boost up my dislike appeal. The main character receives a note and finds out her brother is missing. Ah, yes, another missing loved one. It's what's happening all over these so-called hidden object games.
Summary: After 33 minutes of the demo, I like it, I like it! Compared to the last few days of weak BFG releases, this one's a keeper in my book. Sure, sure--another vampire tale. Decent story line, though--brother disappears while carrying on his ancestor's legacy, and sister is off to Venice to find him. (Wouldn't mind a role-reversal every now and then, though--sister goes missing, and brother chases after!
Summary: First of all, the title alone is not very creative but I enjoyed playing this game. It kind of reminded me of Dying for Daylight except DfD was much better. The graphics were drawn pretty good, the music was ok except after a HO scene and you find an important object, organ music plays which can be a little annoying yet a minor annoyance...not a big deal. The puzzles were not challenging at all which some players may find a flaw with that.
