Summary: I bought this game because I was looking for some oldies to play that had unique animals and such. But my mouse hardly works on it. The sensitivity is very low and it doesn't even respond half the time. Im using a razer and at this current state the game is unplayable.
Summary: This game has the potential to be fun. Unlike others who say this is "dumbed down" from the first one, I thought the the original B&W spent too much time forcing the player to set up cities and play the game with limited resources.
Summary: First of all you'll need a video card that supports pixel shader 2.0 or higher or you won't see many of the eye popping graphics featured in the screenshots, such as water, weather, your "good" alignment effects, sun and moon, ants, the list goes on.
Summary: I am so disappointed. the game will not even open even after downloading all the patches. Don't even try contacting anyone because from what ive seen they all say its not their problem or cant do anything. don't waste your money. They sure cant fix my broken heart.
Summary: This game was not at all what I was expecting. The building menus are poorly designed. Early in the game, when there are few buildings available, it's not a factor. Once you start upgrading, though, you have to click through long, unorganized lists to find what you're looking for.
Summary: I never could get this game to run reliably on any of the computers I own. Not on the one I had when it came out, a 1.3 ghz Pentium and a geforce II ultra and windows XP, not on a modern one with a geforce gtx 680, 4 gigs of ram and a Pentium quad core processor running windows 7.
Summary: Check the system requirements before you buy this game. (What ever happend to listing them on the page where the game is sold?) B&W2 does not run on my Dell, which is only three years old. I have XP, a P4 2.0 GHz, and a 64 MB GeForce video card (but the card does not support pixel shading!
Summary: Its a love it or hate it case. I hated it. The game tries to be non-linear but it fails in that you have to do the same thing over and over again which lost my interest very quickly. On top of that add bad controls and long load times.
