Summary: For the price, this is a fantastic DLC. New maps and 60 challenges. My breakdown is as follows: 1. Graphics: 9/10 - excellent as the original game 2. Gameplay: 7/10 - satisfying gameplay, great replay value 3. Extras: 7/10 - museum with unlockable content and story tidbits Overall, amazing DLC.
Summary: The combat in Bioshock was never really any good. The fact that they made this DLC focus completely on combat means that it's not any good. Sure, it has its moments. I mean the combat isn't terrible, but there isn't anything particularly fun either. You go through 4 different arenas of 15 waves each, Your basic goal is to get a high score to compete with friends. Does anyone actually care The combat in Bioshock was never really any good.
Summary: It's kind of nice to have A FPS that isn't just a throw-away background storyline. You need to pay attention if you want to understand it but it is worth understanding. The game play did not seem as highly responsive as I would like for a FPS, but the storyline was interesting.
Summary: We all know by now that fist person shooters are all the same and they aren't that long.Bioshock just feels different tho and has roughly 13 hours of gameplay for someone who inspects every detail and looks for Easter eggs
Summary: I did not like the story of this game. It was pretty confusing...maybe i am dumb but I had a hard time following. I beat the game on hard difficulty and found it to be a blast. The gameplay itself is very fun and found myself playing for hours on end...until it ended. Anyways, i am probably in the minority when it comes to the story ,but as one who has played the other Bioshocks, i'd say this is the worst out of the 3. Not saying it is god awful ...
