Since the fall of Andrew Ryan, the underwater city of Rapture is deteriorating and is being ruled by Sophia Lamb who has tried to kill you; and if that isn’t bad enough, she has also taken away your daughter. Read more

    • Excellent story told through audio diaries found in the city of Rapture.
    • Multiplayer is still active, but you have to wait a little bit to gather enough people to play.

Not as shocking as the first game, but still a worthy sequel Read more

    • Combat balances tactics and outright chaos; excellent level design; enjoyable multiplayer.
    • Set pieces not as engaging as original; multiplayer unlock system initially bars players from main draw.

BioShock 2 is a game definitely worth playing but those who engage in it need not expect the same experience delivered by its predecessor. Read more

    • Rapture again, Better combat, Compelling ending
    • Disappointing multiplayer, Rather short single player, Annoying underwater sections

In many ways BioShock 2 is a game about refinements, rather than wholesale changes. Combat is better, but the game's story doesn't match that found in the original. Read more

    • Battles are larger in scale, Combat is deeper, Multiplayer is surprisingly good
    • Plot isn't as clever as that in the first game

I played thru Bioshock in a couple weeks. It was an OK game, clumsy controls ( with Xbox 360 controller ), and I didn't figure that I would purchase the sequal, but when I came across it for $10, I figured it was worth a... Read more or see product

Please don't complain about not being able to use your Xbox 360 gamepad with the PC game. If you are so hard up to play with a gamepad, buy the Xbox version. Read more

    • Excellent graphics.
    • My only complaint would be that the game is too short. But then, I almost always have this complaint when I finish a really good game. If you didn't want the game to end, it was probably a lot of fun.

Bioshock 2 continues to be a enjoyable, weird and scary but not a lot has changed. Read more

    • You're a Big Daddy! Some difficult scenarios, none of the old gameplay is lost, atmospheric sound
    • The gameplay is very similar to the first game, less enthrilling story
