Since the fall of Andrew Ryan, the underwater city of Rapture is deteriorating and is being ruled by Sophia Lamb who has tried to kill you; and if that isn’t bad enough, she has also taken away your daughter. Read more
- Excellent story told through audio diaries found in the city of Rapture.
- Multiplayer is still active, but you have to wait a little bit to gather enough people to play.

- Combat balances tactics and outright chaos; excellent level design; enjoyable multiplayer.
- Set pieces not as engaging as original; multiplayer unlock system initially bars players from main draw.

In many ways BioShock 2 is a game about refinements, rather than wholesale changes. Combat is better, but the game's story doesn't match that found in the original. Read more
- Battles are larger in scale, Combat is deeper, Multiplayer is surprisingly good
- Plot isn't as clever as that in the first game
