Summary: The business model that "Origin" has created has almost ruined this for players who long have enjoyed various PopCap games, me being one. I bought a new computer and had run out of licenses for Bejeweled 3. So I purchased this off of Amazon. The download was agonizingly slow only made worse by the bizarre requirement to have to establish an "Origin" account to install and play the game I just BOUGHT.
Summary: I don't usually write reviews of my purchases but this time I am more than just a little bit motivated because I'm angry. I have never purchased a game through downloading before but I expected to just download it to my computer and have it run as though it came originally installed on my computer. I downloaded it at work so I could play it while I ate lunch.
Summary: I used to enjoy the old Bejewelled - a relaxing way to distract myself from whatever I was trying not to think about at the moment - but the new version is different in two ways that I find very annoying. First the music is different. I used to love the old music, though admittedly the new version is more generous with the uplifting "Awesome!" "Great!" "Excellent!
Summary: This is a really good game. The problem is, every time I get within sight of earning all the badges in asks me to sign in as a new user and I have to start again. I have Plants & Zombies, which is equally complicated, and that never causes any problems.
