‘Beast Boxing Turbo’ (PC) – Review

27 November 2013
  • Conclusion: I enjoyed boxing beasts a lot more than I ever expected to, but the main thrust of the game only takes about 2 hours or so to fully complete. That said, there’s also a New Game+ mode as well as a higher difficulty level, on top of a pretty solid amount of equipment to buy. Considering Beast Boxing Turbo is currently selling for £3.49 on Desura and £3.99 on Steam, you’ll get more than enough bang for your buck. Or quality for your quid, as it were.

Beast Boxing Turbo PC Review

True PC gaming

  • Summary: For a mere $4.99, Beast Boxing Turbo is a stellar title which nails the polished and accessible combat needed for a boxing game.  The art style is majestic which makes punching a comedic turkey even more satisfying.  While the career tends to be punishingly difficult and short, it is a fulfilling experience with oodles of charm.  A demo is available from the official site which should indicate if this particular title is suitable for you.

Beast Boxing Turbo

  • Summary: Beast Boxing Turbo looks fantastic, but lacks the necessary depth
  • Pros: Great style, with gorgeous art and animations. Unique experience. Very intense at times.
  • Cons: Not a whole lot of depth to it. Can be beaten quite easily via simply button-bashing. Very short.
