Paranoia AND Fun

Justin, Starlit Citadel
5 February 2015
  • Summary: Here's what you need to know: - The learning curve is steep thanks to the complexity of the game, but once people catch on to the flow of turns it's one hell of a good time. - It's hard for the humans to win. Tight, thoughtful cooperation is key.

you don't need to be a fan of BSG

Brandon, Starlit Citadel
29 April 2014
  • Summary: You don't need to ve a fan of BSG to be able to appreciate this game. Its just a great sci-fi game with interesting characters that is relatively simple to teach and learn. There are a lot of things happening in the game, and its very enjoyable.

Hands Down, Best Boardgame that I've Played

Daniel, Starlit Citadel
29 September 2012
  • Summary: BSG, I can play this forever, and the reason is because every time I play it its different, whether it be the situation, your character, or the players, every time i play it, it's like for the first time.

Best semi-coop out there

David, Starlit Citadel
15 August 2012
  • Summary: It's misleading to say that this is a game based on a TV series. Playing BSG is like recreating the series at home. It's as good as its source material. Best of all, players needn't have watched the series to get into the game.

. If you’re a fan of the show or like games with hidden traitor mechanics, Battlestar Galactica should be on your game shelf.

Josh B., Starlit Citadel
26 October 2011
  • Summary: Battlestar Galactica is a 3-6 player semi-cooperative game based on the re-imagined series. Players take on the role of one of the major characters on the Galactica trying to survive after the Cylon’s attack on the Twelve Colonies.

Exodus adds a lot to game play, without adding extensively to the play time or being overly complicated. In particular, the Cylon Fleet option involves much more planning on the part of the humans and a greater need to actually attack the cylons, which he

  • Summary: I love the original Battlestar Galactica board game and found the Exodus expansion to be a welcome addition. There are 3 options in the Exodus expansion that can be added individually or together to the base game: Ionian Nebula, Conflicted Loyalties, and Cylon Fleet.

A fantastic science fiction-themed game

Kirk Andersen, Funagain Games
5 April 2011
  • Summary: I didn't think I would like a game based on a TV series (or movie for that matter) but this game was literally fantastic! Everyone gets a character and plays it throughout the game and basically you are running around the Battlestar trying to fend off the cylon attacks.

Causal Gamers Beware!

Fong Chun, Starlit Citadel
2 January 2011
  • Summary: First off, I am huge fan of BSG having watched all four seasons, The Plan, and Razor. So when I heard that there was a BSG boardgame, naturally I was excited to get my hands on it. BSG the boardgame is not your typical boardgame in any sense.

Fun Game

Steve Klasen, Funagain Games
9 May 2010
  • Summary: Love the cooperative aspect, yet the battle of the two sides. and the receipt of new loyalty cards half way through makes for interesting strategy in the first half. Think you are on the human side? It all could change midway and you may not be happy you worked so hard for humans!
