Excerpt: I have played countless war games on many platforms such as PC, PlayStation 1,2,3, and Xbox. In my opinion, Battlefield Vietnam was the second best war game I have ever played (the first is Counter-Strike 1.6). What is very unique about Battlefield Vietnam is its impossible variety and diversity. The first I played it was at one of my friends house, and I did not watch its trailer back then. I started as an ordinary soldier with guns and bombs, nothing special.
Summary: this is a fantastic game. incredibly fantastic. spendidly fantastic. this game, some may say is just a lame knock-off of the 2002 hit, "battlefield 1942". they are almost entirely correct, only this time there are more helicopters, fewer germans and much more badass music. despite the similarity in the two titles, BFV has the feel of an entirely new game and not some kind of glorified expansion pack.
Summary: Battlefield Vietnam, I have to say, rivals it's older brother Battlefield 1942. The single greatest new edition is being able to play music in any vechile. You can customize it by adding your own tracks as well :) In those long online games this really comes in handy. Alas no campaign mode = - * For most of what they lost they make up for it in multiplayer. Spawn points are key and you must capture and hold them at all costs.
Summary: I bought this for my son. He's played this game over and over. He loves the music on here, too. The graphic are really good. A really great game for the price. I would get this game again. Service great from beginning to end, as always.
Summary: Battlefield Vietnam was a bit more thrown together then Battlefield 1942. It was the next step in trying to cash in on the new Vietnam game craze that followed the wake of the WWII craze. The game features some graphical improvements over the original and really helps in terms of foliage and cover. In fact sometimes this can be more of a pain if you're the poor noob who is brought down by hidden fire. The real star of this game is the new helicopters.
Pros: Mobile spawn points, helicopters, river boats

Summary: I downloaded the demo of this game because i've always been a fan of war games, especially in forresty environments. I played it for a while and instantly went off and bought the full game! The single player mode in this game is definitely worth playing. It isn't as easy as most games and requires skill and tactical play to beat the opposition. What i love about the game is that you get to select your class, engineer, bomber, sniper and so on.
Excerpt: "The Battlefield series has certainly been a pioneer in this field, and anyone who's a fan of it, especially the newer Modern Combat game, should definitely check this game out, even if it's just out of curiousity and appreciation for the franchise. Although not everyone's cup of tea, Vietnam war-based shooters are arguably an under-developed market, especically in comparison with World War II shooters. In my opinion, having played on numerous 'Nam ...

Summary: Unfortunately you have to have an good internet connection to play this game, although it has a single player mode it is very bad and plays like multiplayer with bots, in redemption the singleplayer mode does get you experienced enough to fight well against the much more skilled players online, I see it as a self tutorial on the game so you can learn the basics while not under constant fire, you don't get much ammo in singleplayer but that changes online and can be...
Pros: Good Graphics, Great Multiplayer Game, WW2 Add-On
Cons: Really Mean't To Be A Multiplayer Gam, Singleplayer Let's It Down A Bit.
