Battlefield 4 – PC Game Review

Armchair General
12 November 2013
  • Conclusion: Battlefield 4 is another hit in a franchise that has had few misses. If you think all this sounds like not a lot has changed since BF3 , you’re correct. This one features minor improvements, notably with graphics and the added modes. In this way it does feel like a smooth transition from the previous game while offering some new maps, new small arms and just a little bit more of what has always made this series one of the best shooters out there.
  • Pros: Commander Mode is back; new maps, new modes, more BF fun
  • Cons: Campaign mode is serious dud; plan on buying a new computer!

Battlefield 4 Review

  • Excerpt: Twelve years of Battlefield games have come and gone and after a rather short two-year wait since the last game, we now have a transformational, gap-crossing new entry in the series. Publisher EA loves to tighten the grasp they have on gamers and they've executed a brilliant, addictive, and frankly exploitative strategy to make money off of gamers, but here's my thing: it's OK to partake in it if you can afford it, you can keep track of how much in total you're spending...
