  • Summary: When it comes to Battlefield 3, there's a TON of downloadable content. So people who are strapped for cash are probably picking and choosing very carefully. I'm happy to say, if you have no DLC for BF3, then this is a great start. Back to Karkand features an updated 4 classic maps from Battlefield 2, as well as 10 assignments. Think of these as the challenges in Call of Duty. When you When it comes to Battlefield 3, there's a TON of downloadable content.

  • Summary: As a person who never played the maps in Battlefield 2, I can say they are great. They offer a new experience, while still feel like they belong in Battlefield 3!

  • Summary: The Karkand map is worth the 1200 MS Points this DLC costs by itself. I do prefer the Battlefield 2 MC version of this simply because of the larger map, but with a 12 v 12 situation this version for the consoles is still great and makes sense since the consoles can't handle the large-scale . The other three maps included are great maps too, but Karkand is timeless. We probably won't The Karkand map is worth the 1200 MS Points this DLC costs by itself.

  • Summary: These maps, sure they are well made but they should definately have been included in the base game. BF3 on launch had 9 (NINE!!) multiplayer maps... ffs, this is even less than had. This way, there is no way they can justify this DLC. Despite how good it might be. 9 maps is not close to enough content, Even with B2K "expansion" (its _NOT_ an expansion, its small map pack DLC ffs!

  • Summary: Classic Maps, Great Vehicles, New Weapons, Basically Free if you bought the game new. Everything about this expansion is just great. Although i have to give this a 9 because I'm not too fond of the "Assignments" system you have to use in which to unlock the new weapons, some are easy, others are hard.

  • Summary: I've got about 6 1/2 days logged into this game so this is about an as honest Review from a big fan as you can get. 1st thing I noticed is the the servers are right back to square 1/ launch week. Tons of issues. I have a few issues the 1st week but nothing near what Im currently experiencing. I haven't had 1 night (2-4 hours) without losing a connection to EA. Now as for the DLC itself.

  • Summary: These maps are really incredible. The best map I loved is Wake Island. The rest were pretty good. Guns are well balanced and I have nothing bad to say about this DLC. This add-on is overall superb.
