Summary: The Box is misleading and after talking to EA, they said where did I buy this game, Question, to Amazon did U sell a dirty copy of the game me !!!, Because EA said NO Way. I have trusted your business, I may not have a impact, but Blogs and Facebook will.
Summary: First of all, the story line is pure B*%$$SIT. It skipped around from one man to the next. First you are a marine, then jumping into the back seat of a fighter jet or in a tank unit. I stopped playing when I was expected to shoot another marine. Where is the sense in that? Any of those punk kids who made this game ever served in the military or have any idea how much each man depends on the other. They should be embarrassed to actually have let this out the door.
Summary: Why, oh why, does EA even ruin there own games? Even BF Bad Company 2 had a server browse in game, but this?? This is crap! All it is is to advertise there products everytime you want to launch BF3. First, I have to open Origin. and view an EA ad, exit out of ad. Then, Open server browser in the web browser and look for a server. Once I find a server, I click play. Next, an addin is required to launch the game??
Pros: None, but I couldn't install far enough to know.
Cons: For anyone interested in simple casual at-home gaming, or who is on anything but the fasted broad band, DO NOT buy any games that run via Origin. This game wanted about 28 hours to install via Sat Dish, and then can be played fully only if on line. Also, the activation code, once used, prevents it from being traded for anything better.
Summary: Although I bought the american version (nothing stated it wouldn't work) and i'm from UK it didn't work for hell. Contacted Origin. They said it should work if i bought the bf3 standard edition, so i bought that also - that didn't work either. I spent god knows how much on these two products and i didn't even manage to play any of them. Origin is terrible, absolute horsewank.....it kept coming up with a black screen.
Summary: I bought this on PS3 wich graphics are horrible compared to PC. On PC it has AMAZING graphics, amazing multiplayer with 64players (32 on each team). I found out some things on PC: - could not make it run, as thousands of people, had to tweak like 15 itens in my pc configuration to make it work. I 've a top of the edge computer i7 2600K,560ti 2GB, 16GB RAM - 120GB SSD.
Summary: Bought BF3 for my wife and myself. That's $120. Pre-ordered both copies. EA comes out with new maps and charges $50 for a map pack. For me and my wife...that's $100 more. I'm sitting at $220 potentially spent. I could buy the game on sale for $30 each ($60 total) a short time after and get the same product. In short...I'm rating not the content of these maps (which is ok..
